While on one of my most exciting assignments to date, documenting a mid night ascent of 127 women to the highest peak of Iceland, I had a special encounter. Following a distant engine roar, Ragnar Axelsson, a personal role model and an Icelandic photography icon, suddenly flew over our heads before doing a few loops around the frozen peak.
